Beautiful in Brown: MAC Lip Pencil Dupes Ft. Milani Color Statement Lipliners

I'm obsessed with brown lips. MAC's Spice and Whirl are still popular colours, even though we are well out of the 90s and 00s. Can we blame Kylie Jenner for that?

I love MAC Lip Pencils but the Milani Color Statement Lipliners are so similar in quality, that if I can find a colour dupe, i'll buy it over MAC any day. Visually, you can't tell a difference between some of the dupes I found. Both the MAC Lip Pencils and Milani Color Statement Lipliners glide easily on the lips and provide full coverage. The MAC Lip Pencils have a dryer finish and last a bit longer on my lips. The Milani Lipliners are more creamy, a consistency more similar to the Mac Pro Longwear Pencils. For only $3.99 CAD, I would recommend buying the Milani Lipliners if they dupe a Mac Lip Pencil you're interesting in.

Mac Spice and Milani Spice are nearly the same colour.

Mac Subculture is very similar to Milani All Natural.

Mac Morning Coffee and Nice N Spicy is similar to Milani Cocoa.

Mac Boldy Bare is similar to Milani Nude in that they both have a bit of a pinky undertone.

Sorry, I don't have Cocoa or Nude on me to show you.

Dupe Alert: Marcelle Micellar Solution Dupes Bioderma Sensibio (Comparison & Demo)

So i'm a fan of Bioderma Sensibio Micelle Solution. But, if I can find a product that has nearly the same ingredients and performs the exact same for cheaper, i'll buy it.

I've gone through various sizes bottles of the Marcelle 3-1 Micellar Solution and i'm not changing that. I'm so pleased with it's performance. It takes makeup off very well. It helps me prevent acne and clear up my acne problem I had before. It's really gentle and doesn't burn my eyes.

Keep your eyes of for sales/bonus sizes at Shoppers. I got lucky once and bought a 500 ml bottle for $11. It's lasted me forever.

Covergirl The Super Sizer Mascara Review

I'm a bzzagent member and was invited to participate in a campaign for The Super Sizer Mascara by Covergirl. The purpose in participating in a campaign is to provide a review that is true to what you think about the product. This helps out the company. These are my real thoughts.
I use to use the Covergirl LashBlast mascara back in 2007. I can't completely remember why I stopped using it. It was a well liked mascara by many.
But I do know, I started looking for paraben free beauty products. Almost all of my daily used makeup is paraben free.
Now, when it comes to a mascara I use daily, I won't buy it if it has parabens. I find it very easy to find cheap, paraben free mascara, so that's what I buy. But I keep in account that mascara goes on your eyelashes, not your skin, so it's a little different. I also make a ''paraben exception'' if a product is very good and used a few times a year. For example, you're at a wedding and need something really good. If it has parabens in it, I can be okay with using it for a few hours. I'm not that overboard :)
I was therefore willing to give this mascara a try and I really didn't expect much.
I really like it. It is the only mascara to hold a curl and not smudge but still be easy to take off. Keep in mind that everyone has different lashes. For my thick, straight, half Italian lashes, it does them some good.
The CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara gives you 400% more volume for fuller lashes. Opthalmologically tested, suitable for those who wear contacts.
The brush is really a hit and miss. I love how thin it is. I love that it adds thickness of mascara to the bottom of the lashes, to make them fuller. Unfortunately, I find the bristles are spaced too far apart. This means that it group together my lashes to have the appearance of thicker, but less lashes. I can get around this by using a disposable mascara brush to comb out the grouped together lashes.
Other than the parabens, the formula is great. It can have have clumps, but nothing horrible. It can be built up to huge lashes or kept very natural looking. It hold a curl for hours, even in more humid weather. It doesn't flake or smudge. It doesn't transfer to my under eye through the day. It does a nice job of lengthening as well as volume. I'm also VERY excited that it doesn't make my sensitive eyes burn and itch.
